The TacMod AR-15 butt stock represents the ultimate in adjustability for your AR-15 rifle. The TacMod butt stock was designed in conjunction with competition and precision shooters at the US Army Marksmanship Unit.

It features a fully-adjustable Kydex comb, allowing for a perfect, repeatable cheek placement with iron sights and optics of any height. The stock is also fully adjustable for length of pull, and features cant adjustment for the included Limbsaver recoil pad to achieve the ultimate fit to YOUR shooting style. Additionally, the TacMod butt stock is provisioned for QD sling swivels (left and right) and a 3" picatinny rail (sold separately) for mono-pod attachment along its sand-sock rest. The TacMod Buttstock weighs in at only 29.2 ounces, which provides the perfect balance to your AR15 platform.

The Tacmod Butt Stock includes our high-quality proprietary buffer tube. The buffer tube accepts the standard size Carbine buffer, buffer spring, and ar15 receiver plate which are not included with purchase. If you would like to switch-out the Limbsaver recoil pad to another style of your preference, it is installed with two ¼-28 button head screws. It can be removed with a 5/32 Allen wrench.

All Tacmod products come with a Limited Lifetime Warranty against all manufacture defects. This guarantees your Tacmod Stock will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service, for life. This warranty is only available to the original purchaser of the Tacmod buttstock system. Also, it only applies if purchased from a KFS authorized reseller, distributor, or this website.

First thing you will notice is that the stock is pricey. Is it worth it? The shipping is fast and discreet. No obvious signs of "gun stuff inside this package!" which is always a good thing. Stock is packaged with plenty of bubble wrap. Stock has a good weight to it without being excessively heavy. Enough weight so you know it's made of quality materials. Finish is excellent. Fit to receiver is TBD because I will be sending the stock out to get cerakoted prior to putting it to use. Overall it is a bit pricey considering it does not come with a buffer, spring, or endplate. But even if it did come with those items, I (probably like most) have a certain buffer/spring combo in mind (JP SCS) along with a particular endplate (PWS ratcheting or Strike extended) so it's actually smart to not offer these items with the stock. I would love to see it go for under 250 with free shipping since this is a super solid stock complete with a cushy limbsaver butt pad. It's both tacti-cool and should prove to be very functional. See videos on this site for all the good info.
